Hundreds of years in the future, climate change has caused fungi to adapt to warmer and warmer temperatures. Multiple species found in Brazil had adapted far enough to be able to withstand human body temperatures. Rather than living as parasites, these species began to live inside humans in a form of symbiotic relationship. Multiple species had grown attached to human organs and have spread from person to person, infecting the entire population. One species was particularly fond of living as mycelium in human brain matter.  The effects of this species had connected the human population into a form of hive mind. Your job is to enter the hive as an outsider and observe its effects.
